Our Story

Our business has a rich history of helping organisations transition their workspaces – dating back to a Brisbane-based company, Goal Office Solutions, that was established in 1976. See the timeline below for our evolution.

Goals A+N now operates on a national basis with a suite of logistics services to help corporate and government organisations of any scale. In recent years, we have planned and managed some of the industry’s largest relocations involving corporations employing 1,000+ staff or transitioning warehouses with more than 40,000 product lines.

THE CIRCULAR ECONOMY

In our industry, we’ve seen an alarming amount of perfectly serviceable furniture sent to landfill. We’re passionate about increasing the lifecycle of valuable resources and positively impacting the environment. That’s why we have created Green Furniture Hub (GFH).

Raj Midha

Rajiv (Raj) is the Managing Director and owner of Goals A+N and has been a corporate relocations expert for over 20 years. In this time, Raj has developed and delivered a unique range of service offerings including corporate relocations, planning and project management, storage, and sustainable solutions for surplus furniture and equipment.

He is focused on excellence in customer service, having developed strong relationships with many large corporate organisations and Government agencies. Raj has built a business that employs up to 200 people, and the length of service from key staff is testament to his leadership style and family values.

Rajiv is also the founder of Green Furniture Hub (GFH) a division of Goals A+N that provides a sustainable solution for suplus office furniture and equipment via to re-homing, repurposing and recycling programs.

Prior to Goals A+N Raj has worked in sales and management roles across multiple industry sectors including IT, Comms, Retail and Logistics, as well as founding and managing an ISP services provider before being acquired.

General Manager

Alex Stewart

Alex joined Goals A+N in June 2020 as the General Manager and is responsible for strategic growth programs, sales and marketing and the commercial management of the organisation.

He brings more than 35 years’ experience having held leadership roles including Executive and Non-Executive Director, Chief Executive Officer, Head of Merchandising and Marketing, Strategic Procurement Manager, Private Consulting and Senior Sales positions. Alex has a wide range of industry experience including IT products and services, Office Products, FMCG, Distribution and Member-based organisations.

Alex has successfully delivered many business transformation programs for many organisations both publicly listed and private organisations. He is passionate about leadership, staff development, driving change and optimising business performance is all aspects of operations.

Alex has studied at Post Graduate levels as well as prior membership and training with the Australian Institute of Company Directors, Coraggio and the Australian Institute of Management.

Senior Project Manager

Shontae Richards

Shontae is a Senior Client and Project Manager and has worked with Goals A+N for the past 14 years. He is also responsible for Goals A+N’s quality assurance program and conducts audits to maintain ISO 9001 accreditation.

Shonate brings a high-level of competency and experience to all aspects of a move project from project planning, client management, and on-site logistics.

Shontae has successfully managed a range of complex projects including the relocation of libraries, warehouses and multi-stage corporate projects involving 1000+ staff. Recently, he has overseen FF&E programs for large refurbishment programs in the hospitality sector.

Relocation Planning Manager

Kelly Midha

Kelly is a highly experienced move consultant having worked more than 17 years within the relocation industry. She joined Goals in 2003 and since planned multi-phase programs for a range of Government and corporate clients in Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne markets.

Kelly brings a depth of experience to planning, transition change management, managing third party contractors, and overseeing the physical requirements of a project.

Kelly also helps corporate clients achieve sustainable outcomes via the organisation’s Green Services division, Green Furniture Hub, as an Account Manager.

QLD Operations Manager

Rees Russel

Rees joined Goals A+N when the organisation merged with a Queensland partner in 2006. For the past 14 years, Rees has managed the organisation’s QLD operations and assisted in expanding capabilities across the IT migration, storage and relocation service lines.

He has also built and managed long standing relationships with key corporate and government clients including Virgin, Bank of QLD, Brisbane City Council, Rio Tinto and QIC. He brings more than 25 years’ experience in the logistics industry having spent the previous 11 years at Jeans West, MPM Marketing and Bright Bots in the role of Distribution Manager.

Rees has completed a Diploma in Business Management and is involved with ongoing Business Management studies with AIM.

Accounts Manager

Carmen Sciberras

Carmen joined Goals A+N in May 2012 as the Accounts Manager and oversees the organisation’s daily accounting operations including human resources, payroll, invoicing and reporting functions. She has also helped shape the organisation’s accounting policies and processes.

Carmen brings to her role several years of professional experience in accounting and sales.

Sales Director

Geo Davilla

Geo joined Goals A+N in February 2020 as the organisation’s Sale Director and is responsible for overseeing the sales and marketing strategy, CRM and onboarding new clients for our Victorian operations.

Geo brings more than 30 years’ management, sales, and marketing experience having held senior positions at consulting companies in the US. After moving to Australia, Geo became the Corporate Solution Manager for the REA group (parent company for realestate.com.au). For the past 10 years Geo has held positions of General Manager, Director of Sales, and Operations Manager, across varied companies all dealing within the real estate space.

Geo completed a degree in Physics from New York University – Polytechnic School of Engineering.

Darren Simmons

Darren joined Goals A+N in February 2020 as the NSW Business Development Manager and is responsible for tender management, direct marketing and onboarding new clients.

He joined the relocation and logistics industry three years ago and brings long-standing relationships with leading corporates and Tier 1 construction companies. Previously, Darren spent 22 years in sales, account management and service delivery roles in a variety of sectors.

1976

Goals office Solutions Pty Ltd – a Brisbane based family relocation company – was founded in Brisbane 1976 and has been incorporated since 1991

1997

Sydney based company A+N Relocations begins business servicing the office relocation market.

January 2002

A+N Relocations Pty Ltd was acquired in 2002 by the current owner and became one of the fastest growing relocation companies in Australia.

2005

Queensland based Goals Office Solutions expands its operations, offering a comprehensive range of services, including office relocations, warehouse and Storage, furniture repairs, reconditoning and modifications, compactus installations and project services.

July 2008

This year marked the evolution of Goals A+N when the managing directors of both companies commenced an informational business relationship to jointly respond to tendors.

July 2009

As a result of the strengthening relationship between Goals Office Solutions and A+N Relocations and with both companies having a small operation in Melbourne it was decided to create a joint venture know as Goals A+N to service this market.

October 2009

A+N Group of business units created: A+N Relocations, A+N Storage, A+N IT Services

September 2011

Both companies merge into one identity being Goals A+N and commence operations in Brisbane on the 1st September 2011

March 2012

Rebranding commenced on 1st March 2012 when the Sydney based A+N Group became part of the new parent company – GAN Group Pty Ltd trading as Goals A+N
