How To Access BasketballConnect
BasketballConnect allows members to Register to play Basketball, view live scores, Games Schedules, Timer countdown, Court locations, Draw and Ladder, Team Chat – all in real-time.
Download the Basketball Connect app from the Apple App Store or Google Play
To get started you will need to sign up to BasketballConnect with a username (your email address) and password.
To register to the association and your team, your team manager will send you an invitation to join the team.

Team Nominations and Game Fees
Team Nomination Registrations are now open for our 2024-2025 Summer Competiton

Individual Membership Registration Fees
All individual memberships* are valid for 12 months* from the date of registration:
Junior Players
From $100 per 12 months
Junior Players are broken into three (3) age-groups:
- < 8 years $100
- 8-11 years $110.50
- 12-17 years $115.50
Senior Players
$155.50 per 12 months
For all Senior Players who are turning 18 years old or older
Non-Players (Coaches etc)
$38 per 12 months
All non-playing officials (managers, coaches, referees etc) must have a valid membership
*Affiliation Players
$50 per 6-month season
For players whose primary membership is at another association*
Active Kids Voucher
Is your child eligible for an Active Kids Voucher (AKV)? Families receiving Family Tax Benefit can apply for an Active and Creative Kids voucher for each eligible child. The voucher is valued at $50 and:
- is available twice a year
- can be used for eligible active or creative activities with registered providers
- must be redeemed before the expiry date on the voucher.
AKVs can be used at Hawkesbury & District Basketball Association for your child’s:
- HDBA and Basketball NSW Member Registration (at time of registration through BasketballConnect)
- Weekly Game Fees (please email your child’s name, child’s DOB and team along with a copy of the voucher to [email protected])
- HDBA Development Programs including Pre-Rep Training, Aussie Hoops, Girls Got Game and Monday Skills (at time of registration through BasketballConnect)

PCYC Membership
All players, coaches, assistant coaches, managers, referees, and HDBA officials are required to have a valid PCYC membership. This is in addition to your HDBA membership. Please see below PCYC prices for a 12-month membership:
- Adult $30
- Children $15
Working With Children’s Check (WWCC)
All Coaches, Assistant Coaches, Managers, Referees, and HDBA Officials who are aged 18 years and over must have a current Working With Children Check for:
- All Junior teams (both Domestic and Representative)
- Any Senior team with Junior players (both Domestic and Representative) – Senior players must also hold a current Working With Children Check.
The certificate or clearance number must be emailed to the HDBA office along with your date of birth every season – please email [email protected] If you are waiting on your clearance, please supply your application number until your certificate arrives.
We suggest you keep this information in your phone. You can also upload any relevant documents to your BasketballConnect profile.
This is a BNSW regulation, and no exceptions will be granted.
